 As a licensed cosmetologist since 2004 and owner of Southern Style Salon, I have always been driven by a passion for hairstyling. After 11 years in the textile industry, I made the decision to pursue a career change. To stay current, I have consistently furthered my education every year since graduating, focusing on the latest styles and color trends. Additionally, I have continued my education in the business aspects of the salon industry. My specialty lies in color, which I find most rewarding as a cosmetologist. I have studied and utilized various color lines, collaborating with several companies. I hold certifications in Redken, Chi, and Framise hair color, as well as Sam Villa cutting techniques and styling. Furthermore, I’m certified in multiple extension brands, including Hair Talk, Hotheads, Fusion, and Torain  which encompasses tape-in, K-tips, fusion tips, and laced techniques. 

I'm a licensed cosmetologist since 1991 and a licensed instructor since 1997.  As the current manager and senior stylist at Southern Styles, I am grateful to be part of a team that shares my passion for beauty.  My specialties include perms, haircuts colors, highlights, and men's cuts. I prioritize  staying up-to-date with the latest styles and techniques.  Continuing education is essential in our industry.

I'm a dedicated stylist at Southern Styles. Born in Germany with a military backgroud, I relocated to Woodville in 1995 and have made it my home. I completed my education at the Salon Institute in Scottsboro in 2012, I continued to work in Scottsboro for 11 years where I had the privilege of working under experienced instructors.  In 2024, I joined the team in Gurley, eager to contribute to the community and collaborate with like-minded professionals.  The past year has been a journey of continuous learning and growth, with exciting prospects ahead.  My areas of expertise include perms, haircut, vivid colors and comprehensive hair care.

As a seasoned cosmetologist since 2010 I bring a wealth of knowledge and skill to every appointment.  My areas of expertise include certification with Pravana color artistry, with a focus on highlighting and custom color formulations.  I am also proficient in precision haircuts, catering to diverse styles and preferences, as well as modern men's grooming, including beard shaping and trend-forward styling.  I am dedicated to continuous learning and providing exceptional results.

Since graduating in 2022, I joined Southern Styles in 2023, where I serve as a licensed shampoo assistant and receptionist. I take great pleasure in ensuring our clients feel pampered during their shampoo, head massage, and conditioning treatment experience. As the initial point of contact, I am often the voice on the other end of the line when you call. I strive to maintain an organized and tidy environment for our esteemed clientele. I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with our exceptional team of ladies, who have become like an extended family to me. With a background as a CNA spanning over 10 years, I have recently expanded my career as an aesthetician at Southern Style since early 2024. My passion for helping others has led me to pursue a career in aesthetics, where I can make a positive impact on clients' skin health. I am committed to delivering outstanding skincare treatments, empowering my clients with confidence, and helping them realize their skincare objectives, including achieving a healthy glow and minimizing fine lines. Hello, I graduated from the Massage Therapy Institute in 2023, commencing this program with a strong desire to acquire skills that enable individuals to achieve a healthier lifestyle. I specialize in relaxation, deep tissue, and focused massage, as well as cupping. My career aspirations include specializing in sports massage, equestrian massage, and I plan to pursue ongoing education to enhance my expertise, providing a distinctive experience for clients. Hello, as a fully insured and licensed massage therapist since 2002, I have had the privilege of attending York Technical Institute. Currently, I hold licenses in Alabama and Pennsylvania, and I am a proud member of the American Massage Association. My specialized training includes lymphatic drainage, massage reflexology, deep tissue, prenatal massage, and hot stones.
